Are you an HR manager or small business owner with high-achieving staff members who you’d like to support in reaching their full potential?
At Siendo, we are already working with a number of businesses to deliver coaching for staff development on a one-to-one basis. We offer a cost-effective way to keep your employees motivated, productive and resilient.
Ask yourself, are your employees…
- looking for their next challenge or opportunity, after a particular run of achievement?
- usually fantastic team contributors, but currently showing signs of frustration, disinterest or lack of direction?
- showing early signs of burnout as a result of uncertainty and added stress brought on by the Coronavirus pandemic?
- skilled people who you want to keep within your business and not lose to competitors offering more, better, or “shiny and new”?
We’ve had conversations with managers that touch on all of these aspects, so know that you’re not alone.
If your employees are ready and eager to take on new challenges then professional development coaching could provide a cost-effective way of providing the supportive environment that keeps them happy and engaged.
The cost of hiring and training a replacement workforce far outweighs the investment of coaching those who already know your business. Being able to fully outsource it means your time is free to focus on the hundreds of other things on your plate in this rapidly changing world.
Please note: If you think your staff may be in crisis or experiencing mental ill health then professional development coaching may not suit to their immediate needs.
Siendo offers a number of mental health and wellbeing services including Mental Health First Aid courses, wellbeing talks and workshops, and yoga and meditation courses which might be more suitable initially.
These can all be offered in-house (remotely, or in-person when safety allows) and bulk booking discounts are available. Contact Rebecca for a no-obligation chat if you would like to know more or put together a package for your team.

How coaching is helpful in employee development
Many people managers these days are moving away from traditional performance management approaches in favour of a coaching style in their one-to-ones with staff.
The difference between this and professional coaching for staff development with a third-party is the distance – and therefore different perspective – it provides.
An employee may be wary of opening up to their boss about how they really feel, fearing it may damage their prospects for progression within the company.
With an external coach your employees can discuss their concerns and questions freely, often uncovering deeply held personal behaviours and attitudes that may need exploring in what can often be quite a vulnerable way.
What kind of coaching for staff development does Siendo offer?
Rebecca blends personal development coaching with aspects of meditation and mental health awareness training.
It is a holistic approach to reconnecting the mind and body that is often referred to as mindfulness coaching.
The benefits of mindfulness coaching are significant and can be life changing. It can help develop emotional regulation, better communication of needs and aspirations, more focus at work and improved general wellbeing – which naturally supports higher levels of productivity.
We have seen clients who were frustrated with a particular work situation realise, through our coaching one-to-ones, that the problem ran deeper.
We’ve worked through that with them in a non-judgemental, confidential way and helped to reshape unhelpful thought patterns that would have likely resulted – if gone unchecked – in a negative outcome for both themselves and their employers.
Examples of an in-house professional development coaching program
As with all our training options, our staff development coaching programs are always tailored to your business needs.
A popular format with other clients is for our coach, Rebecca, to dedicate an entire day to coaching sessions at regular intervals – ideally once per week for eight weeks for optimal progression.
Rebecca can offer a maximum of five sessions per day to allow enough time for preparation and follow up notes before and after each client.
A typical coaching day could be structured as follows:
08:30 – 09:00: Preparation for first session
09:00 – 10:00: Session 1
10:00 – 11:00: Notes from session 1, including a summary of accountability actions to be shared with the employee, preparation for session 2
11:00 – 12:00: Session 2
12:00 – 12:30: Notes from session 2
12:30 – 13:00: Break for lunch
13:00 – 13:30: Preparation for session 3
13:30 – 14:30: Session 3
14:30 – 15:30: Notes from session 3, preparation for session 4
15:30 – 16:30: Session 4
16:30 – 17:30: Notes from session 4, preparation for session 5
17:30 – 18:30: Session 5
18:30 – 19:00: Notes from session 5
